to your use of or access to our website.
If you do not wish to be bound by our terms and conditions then you

2. Free Registration
2.0 You must complete our on-line registration form if you wish to access
our search area and profile search facility.
2.1 You should only register if you are actively searchng for someone. Both you and the person you are looking for must be over 18.
2.2 Your registration form must be complete and accurate to prevent
your account being locked.
2.2.1 **NEW** (03/01/09) By registering you accept and allow your profile details to be viewed by researchers at our parent company Gloucestershire People Finding Service. If they feel they are able to help with your search they will email you (just once). You agree to accept this email.
2.3 Free registration allows access to the following areas only: Profile
Searches, Inbox, Editing Facilities, Addition of Photographs, Contact
Facility.
2.4 You may search our profile databases for as long as you wish.
2.5 Individuals
may use our profile database facility to contact only their friends
and family members. Researchers are not permitted to use this facility.
During contact, please offer alternative methods to contact other members.
This is to prevent multiple messages putting un-necessary demand on
our server space.
2.6 An administration fee of £5.00 is charged for removal of profiles.
2.7 To process
a payment relating to 2.6 above, please make payments to admin@lookuppeople.co.uk
using www.paypal.com
3. Upgrade
3.1 You may at any time select the 'Upgrade' button within the search
area to access data within your folders.
3.2 In order to complete an upgrade, you will need to complete the payment
required as stated at that time. The current upgrade fees are:

basic membership which provides data for the name you're looking for
for 1 month
£28.99
basic membership which provides data for the name you're looking for
for 1 year
£29.99
professional membership as basic 1 month plus additional 2010 electoral
roll data for anyone else
£69.99
professional membership as basic 1 year plus additional 2001-2010 electoral
roll data for anyone else
3.3 Access to data that has been loaded into your folders at that point
will be available immediately.
3.4 Access to data that has not been loaded into your folders at that
time will be made available within the following 24 hours.
3.5 Additional data for professional memberships will be added to your
folders within 24 hours of request.
3.6 You may need to log-out, then log back in to activate your upgraded
account.
4 Upgrade available data
4.1 We will complete the function of loading available data or notifying
you of unavailable data within your folders within 24 hours.
4.2 Available data is loaded in accordance with your search requirements,
or 'Sought Name' within your profile
4.3 Electoral roll results are for the Uk for the years indicated along
side each folder.
4.4 Birth results are for England and Wales for the years indicated
along side this folder.
4.5 Death results are for England and Wales for the years indicated
along side this folder.
4.6 Marriage results are for England and Wales for the years indicated
along side this folder.
4.7 A maximum of 200 results can be provided within each folder.
5. Licensing
5.1 No licence of any intellectual property rights is granted to you
as a result of your access to findaparentorchild.co.uk.
6. Disclaimer
6.1 findaparentorchild.co.uk is provided on an “as is” basis
and the site is accessed at your own risk. findaparentorchild.co.uk
and its associated content providers make considerable efforts to make
folder content as accurate as possible. However, we accept no responsibility
for the accuracy or entirety of data contained in your folders
7. Electoral Roll
7.1 Data available is for the entire edited version of the 1992-2009
Electoral Rolls. These versions contained an “opt out” facility,
for those who did not wish their name to appear on the commercially
available register. The latest roll has an approximate opt-out of 30%.
8. Births, Deaths and Marriages
8.1 Data available is for the entire version of the 1984-2005 England
and Wales register of births, deaths and marriages. This data is provided
and licensed to us by the England and Wales General Registered Office.
This data set is believed to be accurate to 100%.
9 . Cancellation Policy
The following directive relates to the exception to the right to cancel:
Regulation 13 (1) (a) "For the supply of services if the supplier
has given correct information and the performance of the contract has
begun with the consumers agreement before the end of the cancellation
period."
Your contract with findaparentorchild.co.uk is deemed to commence at
the point of order, and as such the above regulation applies and we
do not offer the right to cancel once the order has been made.
10. Refunds
10 .1 You are able to obtain a full refund in the event that we have
not fulfilled our contractual obligation as stated above in section
4.1. In this instance your fee from either your card or your PayPal
account will be reversed.
10.2 If we have
fulfilled our contractual obligation, further refunds are at the discretion
of the management. In this instance, we will refund your fee via cheque
to your address, for which you must provide.
11. Unsubscribing
11.1 We send
various emails to you throughout your membership. These are routinely
sent once a month, on your birthday, on your relatives birthday and
when matches or potential matches register. If you wish to unsubscribe
from receiving these emails, please log into your members area account,
select 'Settings' and un-check the box for receiving our emails.
11.2 If you change
your mind and wish to continue receiving our emails, please follow the
instructions above 11.1, and check the box to receive our emails.
